Tony Abbott launches education policy at a Creationist school

Wouldn't it be nice if politicians and their advisers would steer clear of schools that preached values like:
We believe that homosexuality and specific acts of homosexuality are an abomination unto God, a perversion of the natural order and not to be entered into by His people: Romans Chapter 1.
and science-denying ideas like:
We believe that the heavens and the earth and all original life forms, including humanity, were made by the specific immediate creative acts of God as described in the account of origins presented in Genesis, and that all biological changes which have occurred since creation are limited to variation within each species.
Today Tony Abbott launched his education policy at an Assemblies of God school with a pretty typical statement of faith. While the school initially stated it had no plans to change the statement, higher ups in the Christian Schools Australia seem to be in damage control mode, and suggest a change in the wording about homosexuality.

Alas, the Creationist bullshit will remain. Government education policy should not fund such schools let alone be launched at them. Penrith Christian School is an abomination, a blight that should be wiped from the educational landscape.
