Vaccination news

Also on News.com.au, we find headline pieces on falling immunisation rates as some parents are misled by the anti-vaccination campaigns:

The pieces have been written to coincide with the release of an Australian Academy of Science publication, The Science of Immunisation: questions and answers which is due to be released on the AAS website tomorrow morning.

One thing that is nice to see is that there is no "false balance" in the pieces. Ordinarily, journalists think that to be fair they must give the other side some column space, even when the other side is barking mad. When it comes to vaccination, it's often the oh so barking mad Meryl Dorey, from the well-known anti-science, anti-vaccine Australian Vaccine Network, trotted out. Not this time. Bravo News.com.au.
