Beach stone-curlew

An intended wander up to the Trinity Beach shops and back became a bit longer this afternoon, cutting across to Kewarra Beach, down Poolwood Road, and through the scrub to the creekmouth between Taylor Point and Kewarra Beach. I found a beach stone-curlew near the mangroves, and harassed it momentarily while getting a photo. It's the first time I've seen the species there.
