Willie wagtail

A willie wagtail (Rhipidura leucophrys) at Taylor Point
This willie wagtail seemed almost eager to be photographed today. It flew along with me as I pursued the kingfisher (posted earlier), chattering away and posing in nice spots including the above, and then following me a bit more including chasing away a rainbow bee-eater as I lined up a shot. I suspect the real reason for its interest may be it figured out my wanderings were stirring up small insects upon which it could snack. I did see it grabbing a few small moths and butterflies.
