Short-horned gumleaf grasshopper?

Update: In the comments Dave has suggested this is more likely from the genus Macrotona, and I think he's probably right. Alas it is a genus with eight described species and 25 undescribed, and it's hard to confirm. I think I may need to add Grasshopper Country: the Abundant Orthopteroid Insects of Australia to my list of future book purchases. I never thought the $750 cost of my macro lens would result in such a huge expenditure on books of insects.

    No, not Goniaea but more likely a Macrotona species.
